Know Before You Go:

• Parking fills up incredibly fast here, we recommend arriving several hours before sunrise to secure a spot.

• There are pay stations that accept card where you can pay your parking fee and buy your day pass together; parking costs $12.25CAD in addition to your day-use fee.

• If you are unable to get parking, or don't want to fight the masses, you can take a Park Shuttle from the town of Lake Louise just down the road. The shuttle tickets are free but need to be reserved in advance and do sell out every day during peak season so plan ahead.

• This trail takes you past many of the famous landmarks at Lake Louise, as well as the Lake Agnes Teahouse if you'd like to stop for a mid-hike snack.

• It is easy to tack on the Big Beehive summit and the Devil's Thumb if you have more time to spend.
