1. Kentucky Falls | Siuslaw NF ~ Moderate, 4 mi

If lush vegetation, classic PNW terrain and solitude are your thing, bag 3 waterfalls in one go with this coastal hike. You’ll hit Upper Kentucky Falls and then head down to North Fork and Lower Kentucky. Be sure to check out the observation deck!

2. Trail of Ten Falls | Silver Falls State Park ~ Moderate, 8 mi

10 unique waterfalls, 1 hike — For this reason alone, it makes our list of favorite waterfall hikes in Oregon. Bring a picnic, take a swim and enjoy your entire afternoon here.

3. Toketee Falls | Umpqua NF ~ Easy, 1 mi

This two-tier waterfall plunges from basalt column cliffs, similar to those found in Iceland! If you’re a daredevil, scramble down to the lower pool and take a plunge in the warmer months.

4. Tunnel Falls | Columbia River Gorge ~ Hard, 12 mi

We promise the trek to this waterfall is 100% worth the effort. As you walk behind this 172 ft plume of water on the trail built into the cliffside, and emerge on the other side surrounded by electric green mosses and ferns, you might find yourself wondering if you’ve been transported to the tropics!

5. Marion and Gatch Falls | Willamette NF ~ Moderate, 5 mi

Find this hidden gem tucked away at the end of a densely forested trail. Head out near the end of the day for some magical light; chances are you’ll have it all to yourself!
