Know Before You Go:
The Saigon Trail is also referred to as the Ho Chi Minh Trail or La Jolla Trail.
It is an extremely treacherous hike given the sandstone gets very slippery when wet. There are roughly 50-100 cliffside rescues that happen every year and oftentimes via helicopter due to injuries.
Avoid this trail especially right after rainfall and be careful on the ledges; the area is also prone to flash-flooding.
This is a beautiful slot canyon hike that reaches Black's Beach.
If you walk north along the beach, be aware you are reaching the clothing-optional section!
**Note that free parking is limited to two hours along La Jolla Farms Road.
