We recommend starting clockwise for less elevation gain and to avoid ascending on gravel
The descent from Mount Bross has extremely loose gravel/scree; be ready to butt slide, take your time and get your hands dirty
Hiking poles would be helpful for this long day-hike
Park at Kite Lake Trailhead; free dispersed camping is available further down the road
