Know Before You Go:
A permit in addition to your entrance fee is required for sunrise, highly recommended but very popular so snag your permits ahead of time.
We recommend visiting this spot after seeing the Red Hill Overlook Summit first for a closer look at the craters.
If you have more time we also highly recommend hiking the Sliding Sands trail nearby for more incredible views.
