Know Before You Go:
Four man-made beach coves make up the Ko Olina Lagoons.
The Ko Olina area is 642 acres and is technically part of resort property belonging to The Marriot, Four Seasons and more. However, all beaches on the island of Oahu are public beaches and entering this one is free of charge.
The sand here is fine and the lagoons are well protected; this is rated as one of Oahu's top beaches.
We highly recommend coming here instead of Waikiki Beach for a more enjoyable, less crowded, experience.
