Know Before You Go:
A very dry and dusty trail, be sure to bring lots of water.
It can be very windy along the top of the ridge so bring layers.
This is a great place to see wildflowers in the summer and find wild strawberries!
Visiting the observatory costs an additional $8 per person if you don't have an America the Beautiful pass.
This hike is great to do early in the summer season when Mount Saint Helens still has some snow cover.
