Know Before You Go:

Dog are welcome but small dogs may have difficulty with the steeper stair portions of the trail.
Be sure to take the side trip up to Bridal Veil Falls.
The lake is an excellent spot for swimming and SUPing.
A great early season hike, this lake sits at lower elevation and tends to thaw earlier than others.
The last mile of road to the trailhead is unpaved and has some potholes to avoid.
This hike is extremely popular, even on a weekday in summer the lot fills quickly and the trail can get congested - arrive early.
