Know Before You Go:

  • Bring a hat and sunscreen, this trail is extremely exposed after the first mile or so.

  • Views continue to open up the farther you hike - including a great view of Takakkaw Falls from above.

  • You can combine this trail with others in the area to create a longer day hike or backpack adventure if you choose.

  • Permits are required to camp here and can be reserved at parkscanada.ca.

  • There are lots of water sources all along the trail. You’ll encounter several stream crossings along the route but they are easy to navigate.

  • This trail has it all - forest, mountain views, waterfalls, lakes, glaciers - we highly recommend giving it a try.
