Know Before You Go:
Bring a hat and sunscreen, this trail is extremely exposed after the first mile or so.
Views continue to open up the farther you hike - including a great view of Takakkaw Falls from above.
You can combine this trail with others in the area to create a longer day hike or backpack adventure if you choose.
Permits are required to camp here and can be reserved at parkscanada.ca.
There are lots of water sources all along the trail. You’ll encounter several stream crossings along the route but they are easy to navigate.
This trail has it all - forest, mountain views, waterfalls, lakes, glaciers - we highly recommend giving it a try.
