Know Before You Go:
Purchase your pass before you arrive or have cash on hand to pay the day-use fee at the trailhead.
We highly recommend AWD as there is a very long dirt road to the trailhead with large, water filled potholes, however we saw a handful of smaller sedans in the parking lot so - you make the call.

We recommend doing the loop portion in a counter-clockwise direction. Pack a picnic and check out Gold Bluff Beach before you head out.
