Know Before You Go:
Certainly a must-do hike, this ridge trail brings you through a pine forest before opening up to expansive views of the Waihe'e valley and river.
You’ll be able to spot the 260 ft Makamaka'ole Falls in the distance during your ascent.
Trek carefully after a storm; this can be a very muddy, and therefore slippery, trail.
We recommend bringing hiking poles for extra support.
