This lookout sits above the Pali Highway tunnels with sweeping views of the Ko’olau Range.
Here in 1795, Kamehameha The Great conquered the island of Oahu in one of the bloodiest battles in history.
Pair this the first 0.25 mi of Pali Notches Trail for a short, muddy, yet scenic hike. Do not attempt the whole hike unless you are a very experienced hiker.
