Know Before You Go:
Follow the poles to help you stay on the trail in the sand; download your offline map before arriving as the poles can sometimes get buried and be hard to follow.
We opted to do the sand portion barefoot! Stash you shoes in the edge of the tree line so you don’t have to carry them, retrieve when you loop back.
The beach at the end of the trail is closed to dogs from March-September.
