Check the Zion Shuttle Guide for a more accurate and up-to-date timetable and details on how to obtain a reservation.
There are two ways to complete this trail: top-down and bottom-to-top. The top-down route requires a permit. This review is for the second option.
This famous trail is usually not done in full; most hikers complete a mile or two and turn around.
During the colder months, it is highly recommended to rent gear (drysuit, boots, poles) from a local company.
The water levels can reach as high up as your neck on some portions of the trail.
