We recommend going counter-clockwise.
An amazing place to see wildflowers during the spring and early summer - check AllTrails and blogs regularly to find out when the flowers are at their peak.
Weekends tend to be extremely crowded but if you head to the trail a few hours before sunset on a weekday you will have a much more enjoyable experience.
