Know Before You Go:
A beautiful walk in the woods to a gorgeous lake that's great for paddle boarding and swimming.
This is a popular backpacking/camping spot since no advanced reservation is required.
Come early if you would like a spot in the lot but there is plenty of overflow parking along the road to the trailhead.
This trail can get especially buggy; bring DEET.
We recommend taking the lower creek route on your way in and the upper route on the way out, or take the lower route both directions.
The views continue to open up as you walk around the lake so be sure to follow the trail to the end point or close.
