Know Before You Go:
Complete the loop clockwise or counter-clockwise, you can't go wrong.
Arrive very early - expect extremely large crowds and long lines to get into the park if you arrive later than 9am on a weekend.
This trail has amazing views of Mount Rainier and the surrounding ridges the entire way, a favorite for good reason!
A great place to see wildflowers and wildlife in summer time.
Stop by the historic lodge for lunch or to relax when you complete your hike.
